Winnipeg Police have identified the victim in the September 21, 2021, homicide on Young Street.
The victim’s body was found by firefighters after they extinguished a fire that had been deliberately set.
The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Faye Sanderson.
Members of the Homicide Unit continue to investigate and so far no arrests have been made.
Police are looking for any information that can help move the investigation forward or possible video surveillance footage from the area. Police would also like to know of any interactions that Sanderson may have had before the fire.
