Selkirk RCMP have arrested and charged a 44-year-old man for commiting an indecent act at a daycare.
Police say on April 22, 2024, at about 11:30 am they responded to a report that a male exposed himself in front of children and staff and then left on foot.
An employee was able to give police a description of the perpetrator. Offers patrolled the area, but didn’t find him, however they were called back to the Morris Avenue daycare at about 1:45 pm when the man was seen returning to the area.
The suspect was then arrested without incident. He has been released from custody with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date while the investigation continues.
