A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged with second degree murder in connection with a stabbing death in the northern community of Pukatawagan.

On April 23, 2024, at about 7:45 in the morning, RCMP responded to reports of a stabbing at a residence there.

The victim was taken to the nursing station where officers attended and located an injured 42-year-old male. He succumbed to his injuries at the nursing station.

RCMP Major Crime Services went to the community to assist, and Sky Colomb, 27, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He was remanded into custody.
