Questionable driving leads to drug arrest

A 38-year-old male was detained in custody after police noticed him driving in what they are calling a questionable manner near Portage Avenue and Mount Royal Road.

Just after midnight on December 6, 2018, officers began following the suspect. The man tossed a bag out the window and was pulled over. Police retrieved the bag and found it contained about 49 grams of Methamphetamine worth about $7575.00 on the street.

Bryden Stewart MacDougall, from Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Drive Without a Licence or With Invalid Licence
  • Fail to Signal a Turn

He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for Fail to Appear
