Police have arrested a 26-year-old woman allegedly involved in two assault and robbery incidents on October 10, 2018, near Vaughn Street.
A 54-year old woman was assaulted and robbed of her glasses around 4:00 pm. The suspect began screaming at the victim at a bus stop near Vaughn and St. Mary Avenue then began to kick and punch her before fleeing the area.
Three hours later an 18-year-old female was crossing the road at Vaughn and Portage Avenue when the suspect began following her. The victim was then slapped and robbed of her phone, wallet, identification and other personal papers. The suspect then fled by getting on a bus.
While on the bus the suspect began harassing other passengers and was asked to leave by the driver. On exiting the bus the suspect shoved the driver then spit in her face.
Julianna Angelina Marie Normand has been charged with two counts of robbery and assault.
She was detained in custody.
