Woman injured after her vehicle was hit by stolen SUV

In an attempt to evade police the driver of a stolen Chevy Equinox SUV sped off after police observed the vehicle with several occupants onboard.

It happened in the afternoon of March 8, 2017 in the area of Alfred Avenue and Andrews Street.

The SUV was travelling well above the speed limit in an unsafe manner when it crashed into a Grand Am and a Chevy Venture at Alfred Ave. and Salter Street. A woman in the Chevy Venture was injured in the collision but is now in stable condition.

Police arrested two suspects at the scene but two others took off on foot. Police gave chase and captured the fleeing suspects a short distance away.

A 23 year old male, 31 year old male, 18 year old female and 29 year old male are facing numerous offences in relation to the stolen vehicle, fleeing from police and being in possession of weapons at the time of their arrest.
