Winnipeg police have arrested and charged two people with a number of weapons and other offences after a Tactical Support Team supervisor spotted a man with a rifle in the 500 block of Spence street.
It happened Tuesday night, July 18, 2017, at around 7:00 pm.
Officers found and seized several weapons including two SKS rifles, a 30-30 Winchester rifle and three air guns.
Billy James Skerratt, a 36-year-old male from Winnipeg, has been charged with numerous firearm-related offences and breach of recognizance.
Jessie Lynn McKay, a 47-year-old female from Winnipeg, has been charged with numerous firearm-related offences and possession of a scheduled substance (codeine).
Both Skerratt and MacKay were detained in custody.
