On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, a woman was sent to the hospital in stable condition after being hit by a vehicle.
The collision happened around 1:30 pm at Watt Street and Munroe Avenue.
The driver failed to stop at the scene.
Police have arrested a 53 year old man and he is now facing a number of charges related to the collision including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and failure to stop at the scene of an accident involving bodily harm.
The man was released on a promise to appear.
