Manitoba First Nations Police Service is searching for a 32-year-old male suspect after he stabbed a 27-year-old male on Roseau River First Nation.
Police say that around 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018, the victim had been at a family member’s home when he was approached from behind and stabbed. The suspect then took off on foot.
The injuries were so severe to the victim’s upper body that he was airlifted to a Winnipeg hospital by STARS Air Ambulance.

Police have charged Alvin Nelson with Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. Nelson has been evading police and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.
