Winnipeg Police found a woman in her 20s suffering from serious head injuries after they were called to a home in the 400 block of Sherbrooke Street on Monday night, November 5, 2018.
Police say that the injuries were the result of an assault.
The victim was taken to hospital by paramedics in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
No arrests have been made but officers from the Major Crimes Unit are continuing to investigate.
