Environment Canada has issued severe thunderstorm watches for all of southern Manitoba including the city of Winnipeg on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and damaging hail.
The warm front pushing into Manitoba is expected to trigger thunderstorms this afternoon and into this evening. It is possible that some of the storms may be accompanied by high winds, heavy downpours and large hail.
