Two new cases of COVID-19 identified Saturday

On Saturday, Aug 1, 2020, Manitoba Public Health announced two new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the province as of 9:30 am. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases of the virus in Manitoba is 417.

On weekends public health limits the available COVID-19 information to the number of new cases and total lab-confirmed / probable cases in the province.

Information about case locations, hospitalizations, active cases and testing will not be released until Tuesday.

On Friday, July 31, 2020 there were 70 active cases with 337 people listed as recovered.

Six people were in hospital with COVID-19 with five of those in intensive care.

The number of deaths related to the virus in Manitoba was eight as of Friday.
