UPDATED
Winnipeg Police are investigating a serious incident that happened Friday evening, July 31, 2020, on Dufferin Street just west of Main Street.

Evidence markers could be seen on Stella Avenue as well as on Dufferin Street. Police tape surrounded a one-block area and diverted traffic while the investigation was ongoing.
Winnipeg Police Service Forensics Unit spent several hours on scene gathering evidence and photographing the scene.
On Tuesday August 4, 2020, Winnipeg Police Service released more information about the incident saying that a male was found lying in the street suffering from a stab wound to the neck. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
