On October 10, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service

was alerted by hospital staff that an adult male had arrived at the emergency department

with gunshot wounds. Central District General Patrol officers promptly responded to the

hospital and initiated an investigation, confirming that the victim had sustained upper body

injuries from a firearm incident at a residence in the 700 block of Flora Avenue.

The victim remains in stable condition.

The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and continues to work on the case.

No arrests have been made at this time.
