RCMP have arrested and charged two men in connection to the murder of Gerhard Reimer-Wiebe.
Wiebe’s remains were found at the side of the road in Portage la Prairie on June 24, 2020.
The investigation led back to Winnipeg and a home on Alfred Avenue that had been destroyed by fire then demolished. RCMP brought in excavators to dig up the site and move the debris for analysis.

29-year-old Kyle Evan Sinkovits and 25-year-old Bradley Narvey, both from Winnipeg have been charged for their alleged involvement with First Degree Murder, Forcible Confinement and Indignity to a Dead Human Body.
RCMP say that the investigation is still active and ongoing and they expect to release more information about the case in the coming weeks.
