A year long review of Taxi services in Winnipeg by MNP says that consumers want services like Uber.
The 170 page report released today by the Manitoba Taxi Cab Board was undertaken to identify opportunities for the modernization of the taxicab industry.
A list 40 recommendations were included in the report including allowing ride sharing services, increasing the number of cabs in the city and taking steps to help riders feel safer in cabs.
