RCMP have three people in custody after executing search warrants on two homes in Thompson on July 28, 2021.
As officers entered one of the residences two people lock themselves in a bathroom. When officers were able to gain entry they found a number of empty plastic baggies. A further search inside the residence located 24 pieces of crack cocaine.
Marlin Barrett, 28 and 26-year-old Damanie Simon, both from Toronto and 25-year-old Cheyenne Merasty from Saskatoon were all charged for their alleged involvement with Possession for the Purpose of trafficking.
Barrett was also charged for Failing to Comply because he was on a condition to reside in Sudbury, Ontario.
RCMP continue to investigate.
