Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a structure fire in the 500 block of Lanark Street at 1:00 am on Friday, July 30, 2021.

When firefighters arrived heavy smoke and flames were coming from a detached garage in the back lane. Crews immediately attacked the blaze declaring it under control within 30 minutes. The fire also had extended to a nearby hydro pole.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
