Police release photo of Winnipeg Transit assault suspect

Police have released a photo of the alleged assailant of a 28-year-old victim on a Winnipeg Transit bus in early November in the area of Portage Avenue and Balmoral Street.

The 28-year-old victim, Aisha Walker, claimed she was arguing with an intoxicated male who was being sexually aggressive towards another woman on the bus. As the argument continued a third male approached the pair and became confrontational. This male struck the victim in the face causing significant injuries. The suspect then fled the bus near the University of Winnipeg.

Police describe the suspect as a male in his 20s to early 30s, dark-haired goatee, approximately 6′ tall with a skinny build wearing a brown or orange tuque, green parka, blue jeans and work boots.
