Manitoba RCMP say that one of their own has tested positive for COVID-19.
On October 21, 2020, the officer who works out of the Selkirk detachment was informed by Manitoba Public Health that they had tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The officer last worked in Selkirk and surrounding areas between October 11 and 13. RCMP say the officer did have interactions with the public but was wearing a mask at the time.
Contact tracing is underway through public health and anyone who is considered a close contact will be contacted.
