Drug trafficking investigation leads to four arrests

Winnipeg Police Service Guns & Gang Unit has arrested four people in connection to a drug trafficking investigation.

On September 5, 2023, officers executed search warrants for a St. John’s Avenue home and a vehicle.

As a result of the search of the vehicle officers seized:

  • $690 Canadian currency
  • 3.5 grams cocaine (estimated street value $350)
  • 108 capsules of MDMA (estimated street value $1080)
  • 195 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $1950)
  • 79 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $7900)
  • 70 grams of fentanyl (estimated street value $14000)

When police searched the residence they seized:

  • Sawed-off shotgun
  • Revolver
  • Over 13 grams of fentanyl (estimated street value $2740)
  • Over 13 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $1370)
  • 52 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value $5200)
  • Various other drug paraphernalia

William Davis (30) Jordon Elsley (23) Mathew Hudson (25) and a 20-year-old female were arrested and charged with a number of drug and weapon-related offences for their alleged involvement.

Davis, Elsley and Hudson were detained in custody.
