Just before 10:00 am on Saturday, December 10, 2022, RCMP were called to Dominion City after a body was located near the railroad tracks.

A 30-year-old male from Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation was found dead.

The preliminary investigation has determined that the deceased was hit by a train sometime overnight.
