Winnipeg police came across a female in her twenties suffering from stab wounds while patrolling in the Keewatin Street and Logan Avenue area around 12:45 am on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

Officers provided emergency medical aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to. hospital in stable condition.

During their investigation officers learned that the woman had been confronted by a male. During an altercation, the victim was stabbed and robbed. The suspect fled on foot.

Police located the suspect at a residence in the 2000 block of Gallagher Avenue and located the knife allegedly used in the stabbing.

18-year-old Anthony Edwin Boyetchko Lee was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement with Robbery, Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon.

He was detained in custody.
