Suspect wanted in an attempted murder investigation

RCMP are looking for a 39-year-old female in connection to an attempted murder investigation.

Police say that on May 21, 2020 they responded around 4:25 amto a report of an injured female in the RM of West St. Paul.

The 32-year-old woman had been assaulted in Winnipeg, driven to an area outside the city the assaulted again. She was left in a ditch after the beating.

The victim was able to make her way to a nearby residence and get help.

Investigators have arrested 33-year-old Hillary Harper for her alleged involvement and charged her with Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement and Sexual Assault.

Harper was detained in custody.

Police have also identified a second suspect in the case.

Amy Heinrichs is wanted by the RCMP for her alleged involvement for Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement and Sexual Assault.

Police say that Heinrichs is described as 5’9″ in height with a large build, brown hair and brown eyes. She has a large tattoo on her upper left arm. She lives in Winnipeg but has ties to the Fisher Branch and Peguis areas.
