One person is in hospital after a vehicle collision on University Crescent

Winnipeg Police are investigating a vehicle-pedestrian collision early Monday afternoon, January 20, 2020.

Emergency crews were called to University Crescent and Thatcher Driver around 1:40 pm after an SUV hit a pedestrian then went off the road.

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service said one person was taken to hospital in stable condition. Police say the pedestrian was an adult male.

Police had one lane of University Crescent closed as they investigated the collision.
