Winnipeg Police are advising the public that convicted sex offender, Vincent Rain, age 52, was released from federal prison on Thursday May 23, 2019.
Police say they have been informed that Rain will be living in Winnipeg.
Although Rain is under Statutory Release conditions and will have parole supervision it is believed he is at risk of re-offending against all females.
Police say they are releasing the information about his release so that the public can take suitable measures to protect themselves however vigilante or other unreasonable conduct directed towards Rain will not be tolerated.
