On Thursday, November 9, 2017, around the noon hour a 10-year-old girl was walking home from school in the area of Alexander Avenue and Beacon Street when a male she did not know approached her
The suspect told the girl that he would help her get home and that he was a friend of her mothers and knew where she lived.

The girl kept walking and told the man she didn’t know him. The suspect then grabbed the girl. The girl bit the suspect in the hand at this point and the suspect ran away.
Police say that they don’t have a description at this time but that the investigation is continuing
