Winnipeg Police executed a search warrant over the lunch hour last Thursday, July 27, 2017, on a home in the 500 block of Redwood Avenue.
Three people were arrested and charged for their alleged involvement and officers seized an AR15 .223 calibre semi-automatic rifle and a black “Jolt Handy Prod”. The handy prod is a device used in the cattle industry that sends an electric shock.
Willy James Anderson, a 20-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with:
– Possession of a Weapon (x2)
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
– Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
– Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
– Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance by Judge/Justice (x3)
– Warrant (Fail to Attend Court – Recognizance by Judge/Justice)
– Warrant (Fail to Appear – Promise to Appear)
Lee James Boulette,35 from Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with:
– Possession of a Weapon (x2)
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
– Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
Preston Lee Wood, a 35-year-old male from Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with:
– Possession of a Weapon (x2)
– Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
– Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order (x4)
All three were detained in custody.
