Drive Careless Cause Death
As News 4 told you almost a year ago, Winnipeg Police responded to a call about a serious collision between a vehicle and a female pedestrian on August 15, 2016.
Police identified the pedestrian as 58-year-old Sharon Strong from Winnipeg. While walking in a parking lot Strong was struck by the driver of a Toyota Camry and sustained critical injuries. She later died in hospital.

The investigation has now led to an arrest. On July 31, 2017, a 70-year-old female from Winnipeg was arrested and charged with Drive Careless Cause Death.
She was released from custody on a promise to appear notice.
