High winds send debris off Pembina Highway building

Winnipeg Police closed Pembina Highway Southbound Saturday evening, October 31, 2020, after high winds sent debris off the roof of a building under construction.

Police and Cadets blocked Pembina Highway at Bison Drive around 6:00 pm after large sheets of styrofoam were blown into an open field across the street at the University of Manitoba.

Construction workers could be seen carry sheets of styrofoam back to the construction site
