Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a vehicle collision just after 12:00 am Saturday morning, October 31, 2020.
It happened in the westbound curb lane of Portage Avenue near Minto Street. A vehicle crashed into the rear of a parked pickup truck causing significant damage to both vehicles. The pickup was hit with enough force to push it up onto the sidewalk and into an SUV in front of it.
The driver of the car was transported to hospital in unknown condition. A male passenger was also assessed on scene by paramedics. There was no one in either of the other vehicles at the time of the collision.
