Walmart in Canada announced that effective August 12, 2020, anyone entering their stores will be required to wear a mask.
The company says that requiring masks is part of their safety strategy surrounding COVID-19 and will apply in every store, regardless of whether there is a local government mandate in place.
Walmart has eight stores in Winnipeg and more than 400 across Canada.
