Six people have been arrested and charged stemming from a home invasion in the 1100 block of Selkirk Avenue.
Police say that on September 20, 2017, at about 6:00 am a number of armed people forced their way into the home assaulted a male and demanded his car keys and money.
They left stealing two vehicles.
The next day police found one of the vehicles being driven near Main and Bannerman. A 21-year-old female was arrested. Officers also found her in possession of methamphetamine.

The second vehicle stolen was located on September 27, 2017, around 2:00 am this time around Charles and Manitoba. Police stopped the vehicle and an adult male and three adult females were arrested. A search of the vehicle netted officers a can of pepper spray, methamphetamine, score sheets, scales and several cell phones.
On Saturday, September 30, 2017, police officers, including Tactical Support Team members went to a home on Ross Avenue after getting reports of a firearm seen at that residence. Police found a non-functioning shotgun and ammunition.
An adult male and an adult female were taken into custody.
Investigators determined that the adult male was also responsible for the home invasion and robbery.
The following persons have been arrested and charged with a number offences related to the robberies for their alleged involvement
Mark David HURDON, 26, Nicole Charlene BRUNET, 25, Ava Sarah SINCLAIR, 21, Catherine Lynn ANGUS, 40, Jordan Andrew CHARTRAND,22, Heather Elizabeth PITSANIUK, 20. All of the suspects are from Winnipeg.
