Driver taken to hospital after crashing into a wall

Winnipeg Police responded to a single vehicle collision around 2:10 am on Saturday morning, January 2, 2021.

The vehicle was travelling southbound on Arlington with it left the roadway just south of Notre Dame Avenue and crashed into a freestanding brick wall.

The vehicle sustained significant damage to the front end.

The driver was transported to hospital with unknown injuries but she was able to walk to the ambulance on her own. An officer accompanied the driver in the ambulance.

It is not known what charges the driver is facing related to the collision.

Police continue to investigate.
