A 17-year-old male is facing multiple weapons charges after an incident that appeared to involve a firearm.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2019 police received reports of a male with a gun in the 500 block of Sterling Lyon Parkway.
Police say that and adult female and a male youth were leaving the parking lot of a business when they saw the suspect point a gun towards their car.
Officers responded and quickly found the suspect nearby. He was arrested and a search located an simulated firearm along with a knife.
The youth was detained in custody.
