Just after 9:30 pm on Wednesday June 14, 2017 police were called to the scene of a stabbing in the area of Oakland Avenue and Roman Street.
A 17 year old male had been walking in the 200 block of Oakland when he was approached by at least two individuals. The victim was beaten and stabbed multiple time in the upper body.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Police are continuing to investigate and are looking for multiple suspects.
