Around 7:45 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021, four youths were robbed while outside a community centre in Tuxedo.
police say the group of youth were confronted by five unknown suspects who demanded their property.
During the altercation one of the robbers lifted his shirt and pointed to a gun that was in his waistband. A second suspect was carrying a can of what appeared to be pepper spray. The suspects stole the youth’s property and left the area on foot.
Police say the victims went to a nearby store and called their parents.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1 – male approximately 20 years old, 6’2″ in height, thicker build, Indigenous in appearance, with long hair in braids or dreadlocks. The firearm was described as a handgun with a black grip.
Suspect #2 – male approximately 20 years old, 5’7″ in height, thinner build, Indigenous in appearance, with a bowl/undercut hairstyle.
