Concordia Hospital will lose it’s emergency room in the spring as well but there are no plans to replace it with an urgent care facility.
The move to close the emergency rooms and convert some of them to urgent care centres is a result of the provincial government’s order to cut $83 million from the WRHA’s annual budget.
