Tragedy struck at the Winnipeg Water Treatment Plant in the RM of Springfield on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, after a worker fell to his death.
RCMP say the 58-year-old male was working on equipment on the top of a large chemical storage tank when he fell.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The RCMP, as well as Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health, are conducting independent investigations into the cause of the accident.
