Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) were called out Saturday night to a fire in the first 100 block of Wordsworth Way.
As fire crews arrived they saw heavy smoke and flames coming out of the roof of the bungalow.
People inside the home were able to get themselves out of the structure before firefighters arrived.
It took crews about an hour to get the blaze under control.
WFPS says that the fire appears to have been accidental due to an “electrical system failure” in the attic.
There were no reports of injuries.
