35-year-old Holly Malleck is in custody after she allegedly abducted her 3-year-old daughter during a custody dispute in early July.
According to RCMP, Malleck took custody of her daughter in an effort to deny the father access.
A warrant was issued for Mallack.
On August 1, 2023, Waterloo Regional Police Service received information that the suspect was at a home within the City of Waterloo, Ontario. Officers went to the address and placed Mallack under arrest. She will be transported back to Winnipeg where she will face a charge of Parental Abduction for her alleged involvement.
The child was located unharmed and is in the care of another family member.
