Just before 2am Sunday morning a 21 year old female was stabbed and then repeatedly kicked.

It all happened when an 18 year old female and the 21 year old victim got into a verbal exchange.

The confrontation escalated at which time the 18 year old female allegedly  produced a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the upper and lower body.

At this point a second suspect, an 18 year old male allegedly joined in by kicking the victim as she lay on the ground.

The victim was transported to hospital in unstable condition. She was later upgraded to stable.

The two suspects were located a short time later in the area of the 200 block of Fountain Street.

Shaquill HOULE, 18 years old has been charged with the following due to her alleged involvement:

Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon

Harrison BEAULIEU, 18 years old has been charged with the following due to his alleged involvement:

Aggravated Assault

Both were remanded into custody.
