On Monday, November 27, 2017, Winnipeg Police received a report about a woman being shot inside an agency in the 400 block of Selkirk Avenue.
As members of the Tactical Support Team arrived on scene they found a woman had been shot in the back with a pellet gun.
Police say the suspect fled the scene before they arrived.
The woman suffered minor injuries and did not need to go to the hospital.
On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, police located the suspect, a 17-year-old female. She has been charged with Assault with a weapon, Possess Weapon, Pointing a Firearm and three counts of Fail to Comply with Sentence.
She was detained in custody.
