Winnipeg Police are investigating a break-in and sexual assault that happened August 8, 2019.
Police say that a female in her 60s was in her home on Houde Drive in St. Norbert when a man broke into her home around 5:30 am. The suspect sexually assaulted the woman before leaving.
The victim was taken to hospital, treated and released.
Police are looking for a male between 25 to 30 years of age, olive-skinned complexion, clean-shaven with a smaller build. He was wearing a dark grey hoodie and dark grey gym pants with a blue stripe down the side. Police say the male spoke english with an accent that may have been spanish.
