RCMP in Brandon are investigating a collision between a motor vehicle and an adult female.
Police say that around 4:10 am this morning, July 29, 2020 officers were called to the westbound lanes of the highway about two kilometres west of the Wheat city.

Investigators say that the initial investigation indicates that a female in her 30s was laying in the middle of the westbound traffic lane when she was hit by the vehicle. The female was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 44-year-old male driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The investigation continues.
