St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP is investigating a three-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 52-year-old Winnipeg woman on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Police say that the deceased was driving a vehicle eastbound on Oak Grove Road when she collided with a southbound vehicle as she crossed Highway 59. A third vehicle, also travelling south on Highway 59, rear-ended the second vehicle.
The driver from Winnipeg was declared dead at the scene.
The two male drives of the other vehicles, aged 18 and 24, were treated for injuries at the scene.
Police do not believe that speed or alcohol played a factor in the collision.
