RCMP and CP Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian-train collision in the RM of Springfield.

Police say that a 40-year-old woman was hit by a train at the crossing on Day Street near Risque Avenue in the RM of Springfield.

Officers found the victim from Saskatoon at the scene where she was pronounced dead.
