Woman attacked and robbed in River Heights

Winnipeg Police are looking for three male youths after they allegedly attacked a 66-year-old woman near Brock Street and Grosvesnor Avenue Saturday evening.

The victim had been walking in the area around 6:00 pm April 27, 2019,when she was approached by three teen males. The suspects pepper-sprayed the victim then hit her with a weapon before stealing her purse and fleeing.

The woman was treated at the scene by Winnipeg Fire Paramedics.

Police say the suspects are described as:

  • The first youth suspect is described as a 14 or 15-year-old male, Indigenous in appearance, approximately 5’6” in height with an average build, dark hair and was wearing a light-coloured hoodie.
  • The second youth suspect is described as a 14 or 15-year-old male, Caucasian in appearance and wearing a light orange jacket.
  • The third youth suspect is described as a 14 or 15-year-old male, Indigenous in appearance and wearing a red backpack.
