As News 4 told you on Sunday Winnipeg Police had Selkirk blocked for most of the day as they were investigating an incident that had happened overnight.
Police say that in the early morning hours of October 1, 2017, an adult female was assaulted after a dispute broke out between several people. at some time during the assault, a male was stabbed several times in the upper body.

The male was taken to hospital in unstable condition but was later upgraded to stable.
26-year-old Tyson Cody Little was arrested and charged with assault.
He was detained in custody.
The investigation is continuing.
