An overnight assault had the intersection at Selkirk and Salter closed until just before 9:00 am as police investigated

Police responded to an incident at the intersection to find a woman had been physically assaulted around 4:30 am

Emergency personnel took the woman to hospital in stable condition.

Police continue to investigate the incident. No other information is available at this time.
